Accommodation at King’s Pool Camp:
Tucked away in a grove of jackal berry trees, King’s Pool Camp is a luxurious safari camp named for Swedish royalty.
This regal thatch and canvas camp, made up of eight spacious suites, a sprawling common area and eye-level hide overlooks a tranquil lagoon, attracting a diverse parade of wildlife and an impressive array of birds.
King’s Pool’s eight thatch and canvas suites have a spacious lounge and bedroom, artfully decorated with touches of copper and teal.
Set on expansive raised decks near the water’s edge, the common areas provide the perfect spots to settle in and watch the wildlife.
The camp is completely powered by solar, courtesy of the warm Botswana sun, but there is respite to be found in the swimming pool.
The menu at King’s Pool makes heroes of local ingredients sourced from farmers who share space with Botswana’s wildlife.
Take your lunch in the hide overlooking the water, where any number of different animals may join you as they take an afternoon drink or enjoy high tea and sundowners on the Queen Silvia barge on the lagoon.
