This itinerary offers families a well-paced introduction to two of Botswana’s most iconic ecosystems, combining diverse wildlife, varied activities, and child-friendly hospitality in a seamless six-night journey.

Camps Located in Private Concessions

Dinaka is located in a private concession while Okuti offers a semi-exclusive experience within a regulated reserve (Moremi).

Private concessions have numerous advantages over national or public parks.

With limited guest numbers and off-road access, they provide intimate wildlife encounters and activities not permitted in national parks, such as night drives, walking safaris, and photographic hides.

Located in remote, ecologically rich areas, these concessions often feature expert guiding and high-end camps, while contributing directly to conservation and community development.

Areas included in this package: Central Kalahari Game Reserve

Spanning much of southern Africa, the Kalahari is a vast semi-arid landscape defined by red sands, acacia scrub, and open skies.

It’s a place of quiet resilience, where wildlife has adapted to harsh conditions and the San people have lived in harmony with the land for generations.

The Central Kalahari Game Reserve set within this landscape spans 50,000 square kilometres, making it Botswana’s largest protected wilderness and part of the world’s largest continuous sand basin.

Game drives reveal desert-adapted species like oryx, brown hyena and black-maned lions while guided walks offer insight into ancient tracking skills and survival techniques established by the San people.

As night falls, the silence deepens and the stars emerge in dazzling clarity, reminding you that the Kalahari is not empty, but full of life, history, and wonder.

Areas included in this package: Okavango Delta

The Okavango Delta, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is one of Africa’s most extraordinary wilderness destinations and one of the world’s largest inland deltas.

Spanning over 15,000 square kilometres at its peak, the Delta is a mosaic of shimmering lagoons, papyrus-fringed channels, and palm-dotted islands.

It is recognized as Botswana’s prized jewel as the Okavango supports an astonishing diversity of wildlife, and over 400 bird species.

Its unique hydrology creates a dynamic safari experience, where mokoro (dugout canoe) excursions glide silently past hippos and herons, and game drives reveal predators stalking the floodplains.

A true miracle of nature, the Okavango Delta is both a sanctuary and a spectacle that will leave you breathless.
