Boteti Tented Safari Lodge is situated on the banks of the Boteti River within the famous Okavango Delta of Botswana.

The remote location is situated away from all man-made distractions allowing one to truly immerse in the pristine natural surroundings and enjoy unrivalled wildlife encounters.

A perfect location to experience the magic and splendour of the Okavango Delta, the beauty of the Moremi, the predator rich Khwai and the amazing Savuti and Chobe game reserves.

An adventurous 20-minute drive from Maun through thick sand, lightly watered swamps and beautiful wooded savanna, and you will arrive at this rustic oasis.

Blending into the surroundings and enhancing the natural elements around us, while maintaining all the comforts and necessities required to create the perfect safari feel and experience was the aim when designing the Boteti Lodge.

Large spanning decks are nestled and spread out between majestic acacia trees and the unmistakable “Mogotse” bush resembling the horns of a Gemsbok are customary to the Lodge’s ambience.

Unlimited access to the Boteti River either by simply enjoying a refreshing drink and viewing the hippo, crocodiles or abundant birdlife or by a guided Mokoro (traditional dugout canoe) or motorboat cruise down the river.

Although spread over a massive area the lodge is small and intimate allowing for a personalized experience for all guests and enhanced by skilled staff to attend to your every need.

We pride ourselves on serving freshly prepared meals that are made and served the traditional way.

All meal requirements at Boteti are catered for, should we be notified in advance.

Dinners are served in our Boma (Traditional dining area surrounding an open fire) often with traditional dance shows and story tellers of the Botswana’s folklore and mystical beliefs of the many different native tribes.

Breakfasts are a spread of beautiful colours from locally sourced fresh produce with the welcoming smell of freshly baked treats and African sourced ground coffee beans.

Packed meals are served in stye, often at remote and beautiful locations along the banks of the Okavango Delta.

Directions to the camp from Maun:

As you leave Maun on the road to Francistown, known as the “Francistown Road”, you will drive for
approximately 10 minutes before noticing a sign on the road indicating a turn to the right onto a gravel road.

Continue with this road and follow signs to “Boteti Tented Safari Lodge” about a 15-minute drive away.
