Chobe Mopani Forest Lodge is located in a private concession while Boteti River Camp is not.

Boteti however does have access to private concessions.

Private concessions have numerous advantages over national or public parks.

With limited guest numbers and off-road access, they provide intimate wildlife encounters and activities not permitted in national parks, such as night drives, walking safaris, and photographic hides.

Day 1 – 4 | Boteti Tented Safari Lodge, Boteti River near Khumaga Village

Arrive at Maun Airport for your short road transfer to Boteti Tented Safari Lodge.

Nestled on the banks of the Boteti River, Boteti Tented Safari Lodge offers a rustic yet comfortable base for exploring Botswana’s southern wilderness.

Guests can enjoy full day game drives into Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, famous for zebra migrations and desert-adapted wildlife or full day game drives into Moremi Game Reserve, home to an array of birdlife and wildlife species, including buffalo, giraffe, lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, jackal, impala, red lechwe and African wild dog.
