On arrival at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, South Africa, you’ll be met by a representative and enjoy a complimentary road transfer to the superlative Fairlawns Boutique Hotel & Spa where you’ll spend a night in unrivalled luxury, surrounded by lush gardens in the heart of the upmarket suburb of Morningside.
If time allows, visit the bustling Soweto or go shopping in Nelson Mandela Square.
The following morning you’ll be driven back to the airport for your international flight to Maun, Botswana.
Arrival in Maun & Flight to Feline Fields Vintage Camp
Your Botswana experience kicks off with a true Botswana welcome at the airport and a transfer in an antique land cruiser fondly called “Moonshine” to the beautiful guest lounge in Maun.
A 20-minute light aircraft flight to Khwai airstrip with Mack Air will follow.
Here you will be met by your safari guide and driven to Feline Fields Vintage Camp in an open safari vehicle, game viewing along the way.
You will spend three nights in a luxurious en-suite safari tent on the Mbudi Channel – part of the Khwai River system.
Go on early morning and afternoon game drives, walk in the wilderness with your guide, go fishing or glide through the Delta on a mokoro trip and perhaps even swim in a sheltered lagoon!
